Travel Baseball (8u thru High School)

  • History and Mission- Arlington Cardinals is our full-time travel baseball program. These competitive teams have been in existence for more than 20 years and are known for developing superior skills not only related to the game of baseball, but importantly related to success in non-athletic endavors.  The core values of teamwork, overcoming adversity, and displaying an incredible work ethic color all activities that the Cardinals facilitate.
  • Teams - Teams levels range from 9u thru High School, and players are selected based on ability. To be eligible for a given team the player must be the appropriate age as of May 1 of the year in question. For example, to play on a 2023 10u team, the player must be no older than 10 as of May 1, 2023. Tryouts are held for teams at all levels and the number of teams fielded will be determined based on turnout, generally 2-3 teams at each age level.  Note: Players participating in Arlington Cardinals Travel Baseball are ineligible to play in AHYAA house leagues.

  • Cost - The estimated cost for participating in the Arlington Cardinals Baseball program is $800-$1200. The cost includes indoor training, tournaments, league fees, umpire fees, and uniforms.

  • Season Schedule - The season will consist of two main parts with the possibility of a third depending on the player's age and level.  Winter training will run from January - March(February for High School Age Participants), and be 1-2 days per week depending on age.  April - Mid July (June-July for High School Age Participants), will be each team's regular season.  The portion of the season will consist of approximately 12 - 18 league games, a post-season league tournament, and 2-4 additional tournaments. It is also possible that your team could participate in a limited amount of both practices and games in the fall, September - October.
