The
14U Arlington Hurricane Full-time Travel
Softball Team is off to a wonderful start.
With a combined record of 19-15 (6-1 in the
NFPSL), the team is looking
forward to finishing their season strong.
The team (which is comprised of 18 girls), has
a goal of winning at
least 30+ games for the entire season.
One of the key highlights from this year's
team was a combined no-hitter
thrown by Hannah Brooks (6 innings) and Nicole Cecala (1) inning in the
Trevian
Tournament earlier in June, against a solid Wilmette Trevian team.
Co-managers
Jeff Bergman and John Murtaugh
have agreed to take on the responsibilities of the 14U Arlington
Hurricane
team, again, next year. Try-outs will
be held starting on August 21, 2010, Thomas Middle School, commencing
at
3:00pm. The goal is to take no more
than 15 players. The team is looking for players who fall within the
following
age criterion....
If
your birth date falls within January 1, 1996 and December 31, 1997,
you are eligible to try-out for the 14U team.
